Boosting Revenue with Data Analytics, HIMSS Survival Guide, and new Healthcare Analytics Center of Excellence

April 10, 2015

Happy Friday everyone, and happy pre-HIMSS week! We’re definitely excited to be attending, and we’re proud to say that our Chief Data Scientist, Paul Bradley, will be presenting “Using Data Analytics for Improving Productivity and Revenue” on Monday, April 13, at 10am CST. In preparation, Healthcare IT News has a great HIMSS15 survival guide to help get you through the health IT madness to come, next week. Some of the tips for attendees include creating a plan of attack for while you’re at the show, keeping your smartphone close and handy, and (possibly most importantly) trying to enjoy the atmosphere of collaboration and innovation that will surround you.

HIMSS comes at a perfect time for us, as we announced the opening of our brand new Healthcare Analytics Center of Excellence in Chicago. Coverage of this news has appeared in a variety of publications, including ChicagoInnoChicago Sun TimesChicago Tribuneand Forbes. We’re incredibly excited to be joining the diverse and innovative technology scene in Chicago!

Finally, our own VP of Marketing, Kim Labow, wrote about “The Importance of Data Analytics” in Advance for Health Information Professionals. Kim explained that predictive analytics can proactively address major issues facing healthcare, including population health management and value-based care reimbursement, as opposed to the comparatively reactionary nature of rules-based analytics.
