Patient Payment Check-Up™ Survey: Learn the Patient & Provider Perspective
Results from Waystar’s 2nd Annual Patient Payment Check-Up Survey, conducted by HIMSS Analytics, show patients’ evolving attitudes and expectations regarding payment for their healthcare, comparing these findings to providers’ attitudes and patient payment processes.
Patients are becoming increasingly consumer-oriented, wanting more price transparency and convenience in billing and payment options; for example, 60% of patients would request a cost estimate in the future. What does this mean for providers? How can they rise to the challenge and meet the needs of today’s patients?
