Harriett Johnson | Assistant Director of Revenue Integrity
Harriett Johnson is Assistant Director of Revenue Integrity at Novant Health. She leads policy, operational oversight and management of charge capture integrity, workqueue management and revenue accountability reporting across 14 hospitals in four states. Her team supports more than 450 charge reconcilers and oversees more than 680 charge review, claim edit and account work queues. Since her promotion to Assistant Director in 2014, Harriett’s revenue integrity team has completed six Epic system go-lives delivering education, process improvement and support for clinical staff on charge entry, charge reconciliation and work queue management.
Harriett joined Novant in 2012 as Senior Project Manager. She led strategy and operational execution for the implementation of Epic hospital billing, HIM and claims management, including the Charge Master Description (CDM) build and testing.
Harriett is PMP certified. She has more than 14 years of proven results as a project management professional. She graduated with honors from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business with a BSBA in Management. Harriett earned her graduate degree in Leadership and Organizational Change from Pfeiffer University.
