Opening Our First Healthcare Analytics Center, ICD-10, and HIMSS15

April 3, 2015

Happy Friday! We’re proud to announce the opening of our first Healthcare Analytics Center of Excellence in Chicago! The new center, located Chicago’s West Loop, will contain all of the R&D and development for our predictive modeling and data mining. Check out the coverage of Mayor Rahm Emanuel at our ribbon-cutting ceremony!

FierceHealthIT published a piece that explored the potential benefits ICD-10 for reimbursement efforts. According to the article, ICD-10 will reduce the number of claims that are pended or rejected on first pass—speeding up the reimbursement process.

RevCycle Intelligence asserts that practices should quantify their denial rates in order to create a better revenue cycle management system. The ability to predict claims denial rates would ultimately lead to more timely payments and less time spent chasing down payments.

Finally, leading up to the HIMSS15 conference April 12-15, Healthcare IT News previewed our upcoming presentation, “Using Data Analytics for Improving Productivity and Revenue.” The presentation, which will be hosted by our Chief Data Scientist Paul Bradley, will focus on showing how an organization can connect its data with predictive analytics technology and improve its payments collection and revenue cycle management processes through predictive modeling.
